Just ahead of America’s Independence Day celebrations on July 4th, I thought it would be good to let off some fireworks of our own. In this week’s blog on we feature John McDonnell, MD International of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. This brand has achieved some remarkable success within Travel Retail and, under John’s stewardship, is looking to continue its expansion. Everywhere.
As always, it’s a very candid and straight-speaking interview. We cover a wide range of subjects – from the challenges faced by the company, to managing distributors, to industry digitalisation (or the lack of it!), to underspacing vodka vs gin, to a big NO to Tito’s ever producing flavoured vodka, to Tito’s highly original advertising campaigns and to the company’s charity causes.
