A few weeks ago I was invited to attend PMI Connects, a weekend event held in Milan. PMI Connects is Philip Morris’s ‘platform to bring interesting and different people together to meet and have stimulating discussions’. And so it proved. On the first day, one of the highlights was Massimiliano’s 5 minute presentation. It was great to hear from another voice inside PMI who talked with clarity, transparency and considerable passion about how he was drawn to a major global company 7 years ago which sought to disrupt itself from within in its mission to transform the tobacco industry and deliver a smoke-free future.
What was also inspiring was the thought leadership shared as to how design acts as a catalyst for positive human change, how it helps give purpose a clear sense of direction. This is a very different editorial from TRunblocked.com but is definitely worth sharing and watching.
