After what has been a very challenging two years, it’s was so good to catch up with Kirsi in Cannes at TFWA and discover the change in the business dynamic and how her Fit, Fix and Focus strategy (‘the three F’s’) is planned to take Anora to the next level in global markets. Recently announced Q3 results for the group now show a 13.1% improvement in comparable EBITDA, together with strong gross margin and disciplined operational expenditure – providing a strong platform for the company for this last, and key, business quarter of the year.

With a strong brand portfilio across the value and premium segments and the planned growth and support for Anora’s brands in travel retail, the company is looking positively towards 2026.

Kirsi is an industry veteran with over 20 years experience. There is a Finnish word – Sisu – that best encapsulates her spirit. Sisu is a Finnish attitude to life that draws on inner strength and perseverance in the face of adversity. Anora has weathered the storm and, as you will discover in this very inclusive and thoroughly engaging interview, is well set to getting back onto the right track. And that includes looking at more acquisitions.

I particularly liked Kirsi’s ‘five C’s’, which are the guiding lights of her personal leadership philosophy: communication, courage, care, clarity and consistency.
