

I had the opportunity to interview Jerome, JC Decaux’s Global Transport Marketing and Business Development Director, at last October’s ACI Europe Commercial and Retail Conference. It’s actually our first one-to-one interview and well worth it, given the ground we covered.
Who hasn’t been touched by airport advertising in some way in our travels? Well, there’s no corporate puff in this interview. Instead, Jerome answers pointed questions about JC Decaux’s recent research on campaign effectiveness, on the growing numbers of ‘bleisure’ travellers and on airport media vs social media – competitive or complementary? He also talks at length about digital transformation within the business and provides examples of emotive brand experiences created with Omega at CDG and Mercedes at Brussels Airport.
